Education – Chief Gabriel Cote Education Complex

“Let’s Make Our Students Understand the Value of an Education”

The Chief Gabriel Cote Education Complex is located 3 kilometres North of Kamsack. We have approximately 175 students enrolled in programs ranging from Pre Kindergarten to Grade 12. Our staff consists of 24 members strong who offer high school classes as well as adult Education. We offer a wide range of programs to include; Levelled Literacy Intervention, Math Programs, Language and Cultural Programs, Nakawē Language Teaching, Garden Projects, Full-type Physical Education Program, FTV – Following Their Voices and Spelling Bee.

New Application – All new students who are applying for Post Secondary Funding must fill out the application before the deadlines which is included in the application. In order for your application to be complete the applicant must include all documents required ex: Acceptance letter, transcripts etc. Continuing Application – All students who are already funded through Cote Post Secondary must fill out the application before every semester. When filling out the application the student must submit their final marks and class registration for the next semester.

Canada Emergency Student Benefit (CESB)

The Canada Emergency Student Benefit (CESB) provides financial support to post-secondary students, and recent post-secondary and high school graduates who are unable to find work due to COVID-19.

This benefit is for students who do not qualify for the Canada Emergency Response Benefit (CERB) or Employment Insurance (EI).

From May to August 2020, the CESB provides a payment to eligible students of:
