We are excited to announce the soft launch of our new Cote First Nation Public Transportation Service, beginning Monday, January 27, 2025, operating from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday to Friday.

Service Highlights:

  • Shuttle Schedule: Approximately four (4) shuttles daily, traveling between Cote and Kamsack. Designated pick-up and drop-off locations have been established for the convenience of community members.
  • Service Area: This public transportation will serve general travel needs but will not duplicate existing services such as medical, methadone, or school transportation.
  • Potential Adjustments: Additional stops, such as the Administration Office, may be incorporated in the future based on feedback and feasibility.

Vehicle Storage:

The transportation vehicle will be housed at the Kamsack shop facility for security and maintenance.

Guidelines and Community Involvement:

Passengers are required to adhere to the provided guidelines, which are included with this announcement. We kindly request everyone to share this information with family and friends to help raise awareness about this new service.

Upcoming Launch Event:

An official launch event is planned for February 2025, where we will celebrate with our community, supporters, and media representatives.

We recognize that adjustments may be needed during the initial implementation phase and appreciate everyone’s patience and cooperation in making this service a success for our community members.
